fumes

We are exhausted. We’re not going to lie to you. The commute to the city everyday is the worst, 6:45am to finally getting into bed at 12:30am earliest every-night has been WILD, but seeing Mom continuously get better is worth every second of bumper to bumper at the most random times of the day.

I’m keeping it short and sweet tonight. We can’t think the staff on 9Center for keeping our girl in check and making sure she is doing everything to successfully recover. Our car rides home consist of talking about the consistency they display across the board. If you need to speak to a doctor, they’re there within an hour. It’s actually impressive.

We brought them in some yummy treats today, gotta keep the people taking care of one of the most important people in your life well fed and watered. 🙂

No, but seriously, we see them work through their lunch breaks and check on patients elsewhere and run errands for patients when it’s THEIR time. They deserve someone doing a little something for them to make their day easier so they don’t have to pay $25 in the hospital cafeteria for a snack and an energy drink, all while waiting 15 min in line.

Before we go to sleep, Mom conquered stairs today, and by conquered I mean, she literally ran up them, said “See?” At the top, and tried to come back down, unassisted.

And don’t be fooled by the face, it’s not because she’s in pain, it’s because we both yelled at her that she had to wait for someone.

We get to go to sleep tonight, exhausted but curious about what Friday will bring.

sweet dreams fam

xoxo

Thank you girls, such good news. If there is anything I can do please don’t hesitate to let me know. I’m pretty sure everyone that knows your Mom would say the same thing. 😘🙏🏻
